Disgruntled Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony(notes) met with likely soon-to-be team owner Josh Kroenke on Sunday in Baltimore for one last conversation about why he should stay with the team and sign a three-year, $65 million extension that is on the table. But the team has now given up on keeping him and is starting to talk to other teams about possible trades, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

"This wasn't a productive, nor particularly pleasant, meeting and multiple sources said it could turn out to be the point of no return for Anthony and the organization," Wojnarowski writes.

The reps for Carmelo Anthony, William Wesley and Leon Rose, have given the Nuggets a list of teams that their client would be willing to play for, Wojnarowski reports.

"It's almost a given they're going to move him," a front-office executive who's talked with the Nuggets and Anthony's agents told Wojnarowski.

Can the Cavs get him? why not. Let's do this.

You are kidding me right? Cavs will never get Melo.

I think there is already a thread for this.
