Offseason Contest

Hey everyone, I hope this one works better than the NFL mock draft...

With all posters excited about the offseason and creating dream scenarios, I think we should have a contest to see which posters should be taking Danny Ferry's job.

I've broken it down to four separate parts: The Dream Draft, the Accurate Draft, Dream Offseason, and Accurate Offseason

The Dream Draft:
Here is where you what you want to happen during the draft. Think the Cavs should draft Sam Young? Think the Cavs should trade up for B.J. Mullins? Sell the pick for cash? Here is where you tells us what the Cavs should do and why they should do it.

The Accurate Draft:
What do you think is going to happen?

The Dream Offseason:
Same thing with as the Dream Draft. MLE for Wallace? Trade for Kyle Korver? Offseason does include the draft

The Accurate Offseason:
Same as Accurate Draft

How scoring works:
Dream Draft and Offseason- Each member will discuss who has the best idea and then we'll boil it down to a few finalists where we can get some polls going to see wins. Submissions should be based on realism, creativity, and overall benefit for the Cavs.
1st place: 6 points
2nd place: 4 points
3rd place: 2 points

Accurate Draft- Whoever is closest
1st place: 4 points
2nd place: 2 points
3rd place: 1 point

Accurate Offseason- This will be tough...We may have to vote on who is the closest.
1st place: 5 points
2nd place: 4 points
3rd place: 2 points

Jodie Meeks- 2nd rounder
Why- because they are nice guys

Accurate Draft:
Omri Casspi- 1st rounder
Trade second for cash

Dream Offseason:
BAE- Barnes
MLE-CV
Trade:
Cavs get- Larry Hughes
NY gets- Lebron
Why- when Hughes was healthy we made it to the finals, we haven't made it since he's left

Accurate Offseason:
BAE- Earl Boykins
Trade:
Cavs get: Tampons
Wizards get: Sasha

sounds like a waste of time, I've made too many guesses already at who we will draft and trade for, no need to do it all over again

I actually would like to do something similar to this. We had one back on the Cavs.com message boards a few years ago that actually came out really well (and I ended up winning it). Although that one was more broad. I think it was 3 or 4 rounds, and each round they asked you a question of what you would do in a certain situation (re-doing the 2005 free agent class, mid-season trades, etc.) Then a panel of judges voted on each matched up pair, and the winner moved on.

But, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of interest for this... if more people want to, count me in though.
