We are #5 in the RPI ratings after saturdays games. We should win both games of our remaining games, I hope we don't lose either, because we shouldn't.

I believe it's all about money. Does anyone know why else they have this pointless event?

i believe that every conference does this...and the tourney champ gets an automatic bid into the ncaa tourney. u gotta win the tourney to be guaranteed a spot in the tourney

I'm not disagreeing with you, but the regular season Big Ten champ has never been left out of the big dance.

And practically everyone respects the regular season title more. One, it's the best team through 16 games, not 3 games. Two, there has always been a Big Ten regular season champion. The conference tourney is relatively new. It's something I like to call tradition.

If you win the Big Ten due to the conference wins throughout the year than you record would be good enough to get into the tourny.
