Since my thread has been locked for a foolish reason i felt i had to post a thread about unfairness on the board. i know this is off-topic but i got a lot of crap and have had threats towards me about suppossedly verblly a member first it started with a cav attitude disrespecting me verbally just without saying my name then lepip followed now im not immature but i am going to show you how unfairly i have been treated:

Lafy:Why Cant We just Waive The Players Thats Wasting Space And Money? Damon jones, Luke Jackson, Ira Newble, and Etc.... can anyone tell me wont we have more money if we just waive them?

CavalierAttitude: Another five-year old has made his way to Real Cavs Fans. With topics like these at the top of the forums, I feel like I'm going through CavalierAttitudewithdrawal and am back at the juvenile boards at cavs.com. Please, don't make such stupid, idiotic, moronic posts on THIS board before researching the league rules and finding out why things are the way they are. If it seems too easy to make sense, then it probably isn't.

Seriously, just reading the first post on this thread makes my blood boil. "Let's just waive these guys." OOPS this is the freaking NBA, not the NFL, these are GUARANTEED CONTRACTS.

Lafy:a cavs attitude i really didnt now man just asking a question r u honestly that mad about a question?

If you're going to post here, try to use proper grammar as best as you can.. It doesn't have to be the best, but atleast put a little effort into your post..

How about ------> are you honestly that mad ?

How hard is it to take the extra half second to type out the complete word ?

Everything around here is pretty relaxed, but if you're going to continue to post, you're going to have to clear that up a bit..

Lafy:Okay Here's A Question Why Do You Lepip And Cav Attitude *edit* Every Thing Someone Posts? Or To Be direct about what i post i have seen a lot worst grammar used than mines on this board hey r u honestly that petty oops excuse me Are You Honestly That Petty? trying to use good grammar because bad grammer is a sin Hey Lepip If You Are A Mod Or Not That's Pretty Petty did i say that right please correct me if im wrong Mr.Perfectionist Lepip

Please don't verbally attack another member.

Also, please read the Rule Book on proper use of grammar.

-Infante

Thanks.

CavalierAttitude: Clearly, this cat can't hang. Hey laffy taffy, it's time to go join your junior high pals over at cavs.com, this is the big boys club. If you don't know your shyte, better act like you've at least reached puberty to contribute around here. Kapishe?

Now If That Isnt Verball Attack By A Cavs Attitude To Me Then What Is?

Also im sorry to people thinkin this was news about the cavs just disregard if you are not intrested in hearing about the disrespect and unfairness of people who are something like leaders on these boards.

No problems with the post mate, just moving it to the appropriate forum.

I think we may need to start afresh. Both sides acted immaturely. Lets move on and hope this was just an exception.

Your post are incredibly difficult to follow.

It was a verbal attack on his part, that is why the thread was closed. It was done so the bickering wouldn't continue.

If you two have a personal problem with eachother, please handle in via Private Message to save us all from the unwanted drama.

I did not attack you.. I merely asked that you improve the quality of your post and refrain from using alot of slang in your posts.. I provided an example based on your post.

If you can't handle that, then you might want to reconsider whether or not you belong here.. You're not the first poster that has been asked to improve their posting, and you most certainly won't be the last..

Like I said, everyone here is pretty relaxed, but there are a couple rules, and those rules are not over the top and do not ask much from the poster... In fact, those rules are just basic common sense principles.. We're not asking for posters to be perfect when posting, just put a little effort into providing a readable post..

I encourage you to keep reading and posting just as long as you can follow the guidelines while doing so.

I think that if a person attacks another, the post should be deleted and not the entire thread be locked/deleted. That is not fair not only for the thread starter, but it is not fair for the people participating in it.

Delete the post, give a warning, and send a personal message to the attacker. Dont make everyone else pay for it.

I tried to read it, but I honestly had no clue what you were trying to say. It was too hard to read.

Obviously, CA was in the wrong for going off on you like he did but pip didnt do anything wrong but tell you to follow board rules.

There wasnt much to discuss in that thread anyway, as karma said just move on from it.

Only if it was that simple, handling situations would be a delight.

Unfortunatly, deleting posts and giving warnings causes more drama then closing a thread.

If the thread wasn't closed, those two would still be going at it back and forth regardless of what the staff does.

Yeah Cavalier Attitude needs to lighten up and jerk off to Vida or something...:chuckles: Not every fan is as knowlegeable as others. I find the whole $$$ aspect of the NBA a little confusing at times as well.

Right on. I use this forum to discuss as well as learn about alot of technicalities in the NBA. We all started somewhere and I'm sure at one point we didn't know the "little" things that are common knowledge to others that have been studying this for a long time.

I for one welcome new member's of this forum with open arms. If they are new to the Cavs, NBA, or forums in general then some constructive critisism is needed. But let's try and not attack or go off on somebody for not being informed, just inform them. That way in the future they can contribute back and hey who know's maybe you'll learn something from them. Let's not give newbies the idea that if they ask a "dumb" question they will be crucified for it.

Live and learn.

Welcome over here lafy....

IMO, I think a lot of the frustration is warranted. Many of us are transfers from the official site's message board - I used to post there, but now just occasionally read it. The reason: too many posts from people talking like their main language is ebonics or they're typing a text on their phone. Also, way too many duplicative topics and too many worthless threads that people start about information that could've been found by a little google search or a browse around the boards - its almost as if they need to see their username in lights.

At RCF, the level of conversation is much more mature and knowledgeable. Many boards even require posters to reach 50 or 100 posts before they can even start a thread.....just to make sure that the board doesn't become a mess with junk threads.

Keep that in mind - bring your "A" game, and you'll be fine. When typing a response or a viewpoint, do it with respect for yourself - I know its just a message board, but type out your thoughts as you would if you were in school (or if you were in school, in case you are out). It's just a matter of respect for yourself and to other members of the board.

Just my $.02.
