Well the positive is the Cavs beat a team that they should beat and didn't blow a big lead. They also fairly consistently drove to the basket and looked for shots in the paint tonight. Nice to see Mike Brown call timeouts when they started jacking up deep jumpers early in the shotclock. Only took him 3/4 of the season to try to get control of that.

Cavs PG's were terrible defensively tonight. They made Steve Blake and Sebastian Telfair look like Steve Nash and Isiah Thomas. I don't know how Damon Jones gets 27 minutes tonight when he's contributing so little.
Cavs maintain big lead for last 2 1/2 quarters and LeBron still plays 44 minutes. As a Cavs fan that continues to concern me for when he turns 30 or so and has been in the league for more than 10 years. You can only take so much wear and tear from heavy minutes.

Gooden very good offensively but terrible on the other end.

Portland is a young rebuilding team and Cavs did what they should be doing to them.

I don't know how Damon Jones gets 27 minutes tonight when he's contributing so little.

We can only hope that with Flip on board, once Hughes returns Jones will be delegated to nightly DNPs. ray:
