Positive Thoughts!!!!

Hey guys I know we missed the playoffs and really collapsed at the end but it shouldn't obscure all the positives:

1) Paul Silas is axed. The media might cry and moan about this move but I think it is very clear now what an *** this guy really is. Not to mention his admitted lack of X and O ability. At the end of the year even Tractor (a Silas guy) was playing the best ball of his career.

Just think if we made the playoffs, he might have stayed on: not a good move

2) This should be really #1. The ascension of Lebron James to his throne. Now more then ever this guy seems destined to be the best player in the league without question. He is final link between Oscar and Magic. The ultimate do it all player

3) Gooden/AV - More then replaced Boozer. Both are young and clearly improved as the season progressed (again Silas firing helped). I'm really excited by these two

4) Sasha - with Luke not playing at all. Atleast by the end our coaches finally figure out that Sasha will be a starting level SG sooner rather then later

5) Jeff McInnis - Imagine actually making the playoffs and some idiot (Paxson) giving this guy a contract. Snow has proved he's an adequate PG when we have scorers on the floor so atleast McInnis will be long gone

Good use of all that cap space and we won't miss the playoffs. Perk up this is our first WINNING SEASON in a long time. We're still on the right track and hopefully when Paxson is fired we have another plus to this season

Well, pioneer, thanks for the positive thoughts, let some negativity get out of me. Alot of good things have happened with this ball club.. We can only hope to get better...

I atleast got my prediction right. 42-40...just wished they made the playoffs..but oh well always next yr!

Good post. I see alot of good coming out of this season, but also alot of bad.

Good=LeBron dominated the league with his outstanding numbers
Bad= LeBron frustrated with his teammates and became some sort of a quiet ball hog towards the end of the season

Good=Drew Gooden double doubles
Bad=Drew Gooden when he doesn't get double doubles

Good=Z making the All-Star team.
Bad=Z bummed a finger when we needed his shooting the most (Detroit/NY)

Good=Anderson Varejao's energy
Bad=Anderson Varejao's freethrow percentage

Good=Sasha gets his minutes
Bad=Luke was out for the season

Good=Silas gets fired
Bad=Brendan wasn't any better

Good=New young team owner
Bad=New young team owner

Overall, I believe this was a very entertaining season for us Cavaliers fans. We get treated every day just for the fact that we get to watch LeBron grow into one of the greatest players in the league. When it is all said and done, we WILL have that dominant roster sooner or later and we WILL play for a championship sometime down the line.

The biggest positive this season in my opinion is that we were over .500.

Positive Lebron had three triple doubles I believe this season. Negative They still missed the playoffs and did not have any plan to win games at the end of the year just give Lebron the ball and watch.

i agree with what deadlock said, that the cavs were over .500 and thats a building block, they still improved from last season. they won 7 more games than last season, and are in the same spot they were last season, 1 game out of the playoffs. If they improve 7 games next season they are close to a 50 win season. While some of us would love a quick fix and hate to think about what this team had even a month ago, they still improved from last year, and it takes little steps over a couple of years to build a championship team. The goal is a championship, not the playoffs, and this team reguardless of if they made the playoffs werent going to do that.

Amazing bump. Crazy how much time we spend watching games and talking about them, time flies by man because I still vividly remember that season after the Boozer debacle

Best nba live hands down...after this one nba live 2006 was the shit...from there on well you know...they went obsolete lol....but wow time does fly i remember that season like it was yesterday...i visit my mom here in ohio and she took me to watch the cavs vs rockets where lebron got hit in the face and wore the facemask after this game. Time does fly!!!!!!
