Assuming we trade Varejao, possible RFA Target Idea, 26 year old Nikola Pekovic from the Timberwolves
He's an absolute bulldozer down low, traditional old school low post bruiser who can get Buckettsss. Great work ethic..would fit in great with the culture Byron Scott creates here.
A lot of people in Minnesota think he's going to get a lot of interest like a Nic Batum. They have big money tied into Love, Kirilenko and Brandon Roy next year. With Rubio set to get a huge deal down the road and Omar Asik level deal might be able to get him in a sign and trade.
He averaged 13.7ppg and 7 rebs with a 21per in only 26mpg. If he plays over 32mpg and puts up something like 16ppg, 10 rebs you can be looking at a Al Horford, Ersan Ilyasova type deal anywhere from 9-12 million a year.
I personally would be fine with a 4yr 40-45 million type offer maybe sending a pick (Heat 2013 1rst or Kings future 1rst) to the Timberwolves if they match and want a trade.
