Crazy. Couldn’t believe it when I saw his name trending on Twitter.

Gonna need to bump Mm..Food.

Fuck.
Time to get high and listen

I appreciate you making a thread X, but we got to fix the thread name. All caps when you spell the man's name.

MF DOOM was discovered at the right time for me. I was not too impressed with hip hop in the early 2000s, but the minimalist beats, rhyme technique, and jokes that still make me laugh from that run are still top notch in my opinion. I know we all look fondly on "Madvillainy", or "Operation Doomsday", and "Mm..Food", but I think the villain still has it on some guest work too. He has a track with Tyler the Creator and Captain Murphy (Flying Lotus) and the project "Czarface Meets Metalface" is worth a listen too.

Man, this one hurt.

It was MYoung that introduced me to him, followed shortly by the adult swim album with danger mouse.

Just sad.

The artist I listened to the MOST when I moved to Cleveland. This really hurts. Sucks that 2020 had to take another GOAT away from us.

Late to the party but I didn't know there was a thread on this. When I saw the news on new years Eve, it crushed me. MF DOOM was one of my all time favorite rappers. MM...Food was the first rap album I ever bought. His word play, lyrics, instrumentals, and straight up creativity made him a legend. I mean what other musician samples old ass cartoons and creates a story based around him. Let's not forget that album he did with all the adult swim characters that is way better than it has any right to be. RIP to a legend.
