Chad Henne is no joke....trust me...
our offense is the joke...we have an O that centers around an average RB thats our Problem....I love Mike Hart I really do but our offense is set in the 1980's
we need to let Henne go....look what Henne did to the OSU defense....once we come out in an offense that is centered around Henne you will see us improve...I can only hope that we make that fundamental switch because until then we wont get any better
look at Jimmy Tressell....he focuses his offense around the talent OSU has....UM has been trying to fit the talent into the offense which is dumb and old shool and doesnt cut it anymore
Henne if given the chance to run an offense centered around him will be an excellent QB.....BUT for now he is asked to pass only when the run doesnt work which again is stupid
our defense will be a question mark until we get better players in the secondary....Morgan Trent was abused yesterday I mean completely embarssed....defensivly the coaching is fine but until we get better players at Saftey and corner then we will continue to give up big plays....we do have some yougn guys who are better but they are young but if they step up next year we could be much much better in the saftey dept....at corer losing Leon Hall is huge but we hopefully have a True Frosh that is a 5 star and will prolly start....it will take us 2 maybe 3 years to fix the problem at CB for us
I dont see us getting to the next level until Carr completly gets out of the 90's or we switch head coaches....You all have to believe me when I say Carr will not get fired but he may be done in a year or two and our schedule sets up very nicely next year to make a big run so it may be Carr's last year.....look for UM to focus on using Chad Henne and our wealth of talent at WR and TE and RB in the passing game
We have a ton of talented guys behind Mike Hart who never got a chance this year cause we our offense was turn and give the ball to mike 25-30 times a game...that should change and our young RB's who have a TON of athletic ability should get some more run next year...our O Line will be improved next year with another full year under there belt with our new O Line system which is much needed.....
In General if we play a more open offense that is using Chad Henne to his full ability without having 7 step drops and such we will be much much improved but Carr has to make that decision and who knows if he will or not
