Some suprises among the first string:

MLB - John Kerr (Most were think D'Andrea)
CB - Antonio Smith (a walk on)
FS - Nick Patterson (5th year senior and last year's 1st string nickel back Brandon Mitchell was thought to be a lock)
TE - Rory Nicol (Marcel Frost was starting at the end of last year)

Also, it's a little depressing to see walk ons for our second string OTs. The two incoming OL frosh are thought to be interior linemen, so help is not on the way. **sigh**

Not looking so hot..we need a big big big year from Smith

????

Why do you say that? Yes, the defense is green as hell, but we should win the conference or be within a game of it. That's not bad. With a few breaks we could run the table and get a shot at the natty, but I think 10-2 is more likely. Still not bad at all.
