So I have this lady friend who likes for me to come over and suck her toes on Wednesday’s….

That being said— this week she prepared some homemade soup. It was like a chicken pot pie soup that was absolutely fantastic..

I wanted to take some with me but didn’t have a microwave at work. So she boiled some water and placed the water in this green colored Stanley food jar thing… (has a spoon attached to the side)…. She leaves the water in there for like 30 minutes— heats up the soup, dumps the water out of the container and then puts the soup in there and seals it up…

Admittedly I have not used a thermos since grade school…I was instructed to not even consider touching that soup until lunch time cause it would be way too hot….

I waited…

And around 2pm I opened it up and this thing was still steaming… It was ridiculously hot about 7 hours later…

So it got me thinking about getting one and while I’m at it a cooler that holds ice like crazy…

We all know the top name brands and expensive ones… But was wondering what are some of your go-to’s ? For packed lunches and thermos/coolers etc…
