People thought last year the big 10 was slow, couldn't beat the big teams, well i think we just showed them.

Ohio State beat Oregon -PAC-10
Wisconsin beat Miami - ACC
Iowa beat G Tech - ACC
Penn State beat LSU - SEC
NorthWestern Took Auburn into OT and should have won.

Good month for Big Ten beating four top 15 teams in bowl play

yeah, conf. really did good this year. Hopefully it will shut the haters up for awhile.

They were underdogs in each of those games, too, except maybe PSU (I can't remember). Great showing for the boys from the midwest this year.

Mark May tried to cover his own ass last night by picking Iowa and then bragging about it after they won. Only about 5 games too late Mark...

strong showing for the big 10 this year, its a step in the right direction for sure, but 1 good bowl season doesnt erase the past 3 of being totally inept.

And, as usual, the "lowly" Big Ten remains deadlocked in games against the "high and mighty" SEC. Since 2002 the head-to-head record is now 10-10.

We also won the ACC-Big Ten challange for the first time this year in basketball 6-5. Much props to my Boilers for helping there...sorry we couldnt help in the bowl victory parade...Thanks Ohio State for representing.

I think the more impressive part is that the B10 had 2 BCS participants. They've had 2 every year since 2002, save 2004. SEC is the only other conference that gets 2 every year. Makes it tougher to have a good record when every one is moved up a spot. Especially recently, when the Big10 depth has been awful.

The Big Ten also has many top players coming back next year. Many of those could have, and still might enter the draft this year. If they don't, next year the conference could be MUCH better yet.

imagine when michigan finally gets their act together

Wisconsin on OSU return a lot. Iowa otherwise returns a lot, except their OLine gets decimated. Michigan returns a lot as well.
