Tough road ahead for Bucks

I think we're going to find out a great deal about Ohio State's basketball team really soon. They play @Illinois, Purdue, @Michigan State, @Penn State, Michigan, and Illinois. Obviously, they should be able to beat Michigan and Penn State. But, the other four games are going to be pretty tough. I don't think anyone doubts that they'll make the tourney. But, I am curious to see if they'll hold their own against these better teams in the league. I think 2-2 in those four games is realistic and probably the most likely scenario. They probably lose to Illinois and Michigan State on the road.

Hopefully my Boilers can even the score with a road victory in columbus. That said, Turner will once again give us fits defensively. He is an absolute beast. If we can beat Ohio state, that opens up the road for Purdue to win the regular season and possible #1 seed if one of the top 4 teams stumble (home victory against MSU is huge too)

OSU jumped on Illinois VERY early in the game. They keep improving game to game. If they come out with that kind of intensity each game, I don't see how they lose any of the five games remaining. ... even at Michigan State.

I just think that come tournament time, the Bucks don't have enough down low to make a serious run. I'd say that the farthest they go is the Sweet Sixteen and MAYBE the Elite Eight if they have favorable match-ups in their bracket. I want to see them do well though.

Yeah, I think as a starting 5 we have one of the best groups in the country, but our bench is basically Jeremie Simmons and Kyle Madsen. Can definitely see the starters getting worn out by some teams, especially if they have a strong front line that we just can't match up with. Then again, if we are shooting well from the outside I think we can compete with just about any team.
