USA TODAY POLL..... FLORIDA #1

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
With Berry I don't know how much the arrest is going to affect him, his playing time this season or the way he his handeled by Tressel.

How much playing time, if any, do you guys see Berry getting this year?

Well, he is allowed to take an online class to make the drug charge go away. So as long as he doesn't do anything else, I don't think he'll be too much in Tress' doghouse.

I think he'll get a lot of garbage time reps early, and then go from there. Basically, he looks like the #3 RB behind Boom and Zoom, so the opportunity is there.

Rumor has it that Ray Small and Robert Rose will report with the team tomorrow. Some rumors said that they both were possibly not eligible.

Another rumors, not quite confirmed yet, but a player that would start this year, might not be reporting and could be out for a while. Not academic or transfer related.

Could it be Tyler Moeller?

Report: Moeller suffered head injury By Adam Rittenberg

Ohio State junior linebacker Tyler Moeller remains hospitalized Sunday with an undisclosed injury while his Buckeyes teammates reported for the start of preseason camp.

A spokesman at the Ohio State University Medical Center listed Moeller in fair condition Sunday afternoon. Buckeyes team spokeswoman Shelly Poe said Moeller is expected to join the team in the next day or two.

WCMH-TV in Columbus reported that Moeller sustained a head injury several weeks ago and was hospitalized for tests.

Moeller is a projected starter at outside linebacker for the Buckeyes after starting the final two regular-season games last fall. He recorded 18 tackles (3 for loss) in 2008.

"I just hope for a speedy recovery for him," defensive tackle Todd Denlinger told ESPN.com. "I know we'll see him here soon."

ESPN affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com is reporting that starting wide receiver Ray Small and reserve defensive end Rob Rose also didn't report with the team Sunday. Both players reportedly are dealing with academic issues that prevent them from participating in team activities.

It's surprising that this was kept under wraps as long as it was. Well, since the cat's out of the bag people need to stop guessing or starting any rumors.

Folks, this is a serious issue as Tyler was admitted to the hospital to reduce the swelling on his brain after suffering a seizure at Ohio Stadium during a team event as a result of his injury that took place in Florida after being "sucker punched" and his head hit the ground as many have stated. The good news is that they know who the assailant is and have third party witnesses. There will be repurcussions from this incident, but it's highly doubtful that Tyler will play this season and that is very unfortunate. He will not report with the team today; kind of hard to do that from a hospital bed after surgery yesterday.

Sure, there will be a lot of assumptions and questions but right now Tyler just needs support and prayers from the Buckeye Nation. Don't start assuming things and starting other rumors about why was he in Florida (he was on a family vacation) and got sucker punched. There are more details available but those REALLY DON'T MATTER right now, but they will come out in time. Don't expect to hear much right off the bat from Ohio State about the details either.

For now, just send your prayers to Tyler.

Put it in my post above you. As for the guy being credible. Yes, you don't just make something up like that, and everything from the insider and other stuff seems to be confirming what he said.

Not sure if you know, but his charges were dropped. We all know Tressel is not very forgiving when it comes to giving playing time to people in the doghouse. I don't think he has much of a choice though. We have Herron and Saine, but who after him? Jermil Martin can play some RB and we have walkon Marcus Williams. We also have other walkons but expecting anything from them is to much to ask for. Berry will have to play if we get any injuries to Saine or Herron and probably Martin too.
