W Cavs 102 Knicks 96

One of the ugliest games I've seen in a long time. I dont even know how the score is as high as it is.

A quick run down of how they did

Damon Jones pretty much won the first half by himself. He was some rediculous 6/7 from 3 and even put a layup and midrange jumper in there. Just a huge off night offensively for Gooden, the stuff he normally hits just wasn't falling tonight. Defensively, Gooden had some trouble with Channing Frye, who was just hitting everything early on. Lebron took the first 2 and a half quarters it seems off, course Damon Jones was scoring all the points so Lebron didn't need to till the end of the game. Sasha has officially taken Wesley's minutes and manages to score points in that time. Wesley has taken the place of last years Ira Newble, and now gets 10 seconds of time at the end of close games on defense only.

Marbury and Francis were held to nearly nothing, and it wouldn't have even been a game if Nate Robinson wasn't hitting everything in sight. I mean, the guy is 5'9" and manages a 9-10 night.

Not perfect but nice to see the Cavs be able to pull out the win. They're able to get someone to step up each night if if some players are having off nights.

Jones kept the Cavs in it tonight. I don't expect this type of game all the time but more consistency would be nice.

The lack of quickness on the perimeter killed the Cavs again tonight. They don't have anyone in the rotation who can stay with quick G's like Robinson.
I actually thought Sasha was the Cavs best perimeter defender tonight. he played Crawford very well.

This new offense seems to come and go. It's still a work in progress. Z is not fitting well into yet but I would hope it gets to tweaked to better fit the Cavs personnel.
What's happened to the early season Gooden the past 2 games?

LeBron solid once again.

It's a win and that's all that really matters.

Drews shot just wasnt falling tonight but he was taking smart shots and most of them just rimmed out

he did grab 11 boards and a bunch of offensive boards in those 11


normally if the ball bounced the right way he would have had about12 and 11 tonight but he kept up his activness and played some ok defense

those shots will fall this season is he keeps going at it

Man sasha has finally learned defense,how exciting was that?I taped the game on DVR and just watched it.When Nate threw that pass out I didnt even know somebody was over there and then i was just silent.Damon Jones with a huge game,w/o him in the first half we would have been getting destroyed.
