Cle out: Shaq, Darnell Jackson 1st round pick
Cle In: Jamison, Haywood, Stevenson (cut or whatever)

We get our stretch 4 in Jamison and 2nd scorer, but we also get haywood which imo would fit our team much better. He can play howard, pau, bynum, kg, perks, etc very well and will block 2 shots a game.

Mo/Boobie
Delonte/Parker
LeBron/Moon
Jamison/AV/Hickson
Haywood/BigZ/Powe

Wash out: Jamison, Haywood, Stevenson
Wash in: Shaq, Jackson, 1st.

They dump jamison and stevensons huge contracts for an expiring in shaq would might play well down there in DC. Haywood doesnt look like hes staying in wash (just sold his house) so atleast they get something for him in darnell jackson and a 1st. it also frees up room for there promising young bigs.

Arenas/Boykins
Miller/Foye
Butler/McGuire
Blatche/Jackson
Shaq/Mcgee

OK Bill...........but yea I like it.

EDIT - Stevenson??? No way Jose......swap him out for Jamison.

If I were Cavs management and we acquired Stevenson, I would suspend him from the scoreboard and allow people of all ages to throw things at him. It would be worth filling up the roster spot.

Better yet, maybe he could provide the half time entertainment: we could throw him into a den of lions set up at halfcourt, giving him only a sling shot and a rusty butter knife to use in self defense.

So basically we trade Shaq and bring in 2 guys who hate Lebron the most and i'm pretty sure he isn't their biggest fans either. Oh Jamison is in there...

Yeah, Shaq and Agent L0zer. That would work.

I don't know, but this is the kind of thread that just asks to be ridiculed.

Okay, you have my permission everyone, run this shit into the ground.

mmk. We can just buyout Stevenson and he doesnt even have to report to Cleveland. our main pieces are Jamison and Haywood.

I applaud the effort, I always like reading what other people come up with on here. Especially when you can tell it's an honest effort.

THAT BEING SAID:

1.) Shaq is NOT going anywhere. Just isn't.
2.) Haywood hates Cleveland, so I doubt he'd be excited about coming here. Remember him calling LeBron a crybaby? You remember what happened to #17 from the Browns when he just messed with a friend of LeBron?

Like the effort. Good things..

This proposed trade is actually not as good for the Cavs as the ones that GM want to be (even if he is just kidding) Bill Simmons recently offered up (see Bill Simmons thread for more details):

• VP's Verdict: I'd clean house. What would Cleveland say if Washington offered them Jamison, Butler and Brendan Haywood for Shaq's expiring contract and J.J. Hickson? What would Miami say if Washington offered them the same trade for Jermaine O'Neal and a 2010 No. 1? My favorite of the possibles …

Fake Trade 9 (three-way): Wizards get Carlos Boozer and Shaq; Utah gets Butler and Mike James' EC; Cavs get Jamison, Haywood and Kyle Korver's EC. Utah drops close to the tax line. Cleveland upgrades two positions for nothing. And Washington remains competitive this season and gets to start over financially next summer. Just enough to string fans along in case the Chalk Outline [Arenas] rises from the sidewalk.

Simmons thinks we can get Jamison, Butler, and Haywood for Shaq (and JJ) and not even have to take on a "bad" contract like Stevenson. I think Simmons is absolutely crazy, by the way, and seems just to be raising expectations presumably so Ferry will be open to more criticism when he "strikes out" again.

Also, for those criticizing a trade suggestion that has Stevenson coming to Cleveland, it'd be fairly easy to bring in a third team that we could send Steveson to. Toronto has been suggested, and we could get either Banks or even Evans from the Raps...As far as Haywood is concerned, well, he'd just have to learn to live with LeBron...

Anyway, I think all of these trade scenarios that have us landing multiple players are really fanciful. Unless you are getting something like Chris Paul plus Okafor or West (that was another of Simmons' "fake trades," I'd be very leary about a trade that brings in two or more starters.
