We have only 2 true expirings in Rondo and Davis this year. Do either of them come back? They need a spot for the 2nd rounder, if they make a selection instead of trading.

How many open spots will they have? What about Goodwin and Moses Brown? I think Brandon deserves at least an unguaranteed contract, but will they offer one with Sexton coming back potentially?

Let's start with the obvious: Garland, Allen, Mobley aren't going anywhere. Love's contract, even with his improved attitude and play, almost certainly means he's not going anywhere. Wade & Stevens are dirt cheap producers - likely not going anywhere. Okoro still on rookie deal and probably doesn't have a huge market - not going anywhere. I'd be surprised if these 7 aren't with us next year. Markk, Levert, Osman, Sexton all cost us something and all have some value to others. I wouldn't lay money on any one of them being traded, but I also expect at least 1 of the 4 to be gone - but lets say it's a 1 for 1 trade. That brings us to 11. I don't know how they feel about Nembhard & Goodwin on 2-ways, but lets say Goodwin gets converted to a non-guaranteed deal - that's 12. New draft pick - 13. Surely Windler finds a new home, but he's guaranteed so you have to bring someone back unless he's filler in a bigger trade - 14. I expect both Davis and Rondo to be released. But overall, barring an Allen-like trade that is too good to pass up, I think we are a very similar team next year. The reason I say this is I think Altman likes what he has, and what he has is so young, that he will want to see how much better we can get through natural progression before he uses the expiring Love contract to search for the next major piece.

I think our rotation will be Garland, Sexton, Okoro, LeVert, Cedi, Markkanen, Love, Mobley, and Allen to start the season. I think Wade is a lock to stay and Steven has a very good chance to stay. I think Goodwin getting upgraded to the 15 man roster will depend on what we do with our 2nd round pick. I think Windler needs a change of scenery and we might just have find someone on another team that needs a change of scenery to swap.

I think Koby and the front office will hope that next year will allow them to figure things out more with a healthy roster. Love really isn't a long term piece anymore and we probably want an upgrade to Cedi. It will be interesting on how the team will look like at the trade deadline next year.

Why is Sexton only 50-50? He wants to be here, he and Darius get along, he was our best clutch shooter last year, and I want to keep him.
