Wasn't there a note that people who donated after a certain point wouldn't get gold names anymore, but there would eventually be some perk for those that DID donate?

Do gold names or special privileges matter? I donated a week ago and you don't see me bitching. The point of donating, at least to me, is to not put the entire burden of running this site on Glen and Ben. I frequent this site 4-5 times a days so I figured the least I could do is send a few bones their way as a thanks.

I'm gonna guess that some people like to show others that they are helping doing something with the site?

Also, I dont know if they are expecting it or not, but sometimes the more you do for the site the more priv's your aloud to have, but i really dont feel like there are a lot of "secret" priv's to this site anyway?

LOL Exactly. It's not like you can get promoted in your job, or your site promoted better, etc because you might have special privileges. It's also not like the Cavs are going to hire you because you are recognized in realcavsfan.com. It would be nice though. :chuckles:
