If anything, it's better for the home team, because if they lose all 3 on the road, maybe some sense of urgency will grow right during their home games...

I do understand the main purpose of the format is for the travel issues, but I still think it helps the road team a little.
Does any other pro sport use it? Or any format that allows the road team to be up in a series if the HC team wins all of it's HC games?
