No, I can't ever remember Z being THAT thin.

Z was 3 years older when he came into the league. Years 19 to 22 are important years in an athlete's physical development....unless you are a genetic freak named Lebron James. When Z was 19 he was 215 pounds.....way lighter than Marty is now at the same age. Marty is a 1/2" taller than Z too. And let's not put to much importance on 'weight'. Other variables such as strength, positioning, technique, leverage, EXPERIENCE, etc are far more important than Marty's ideal playing weight. Marty will be one of the biggest steals of this year's draft....it will just take time.

I want to see Marty and Z on the floor together - THE LITHUANIAN TWIN TOWERS! :chuckles:

That is a bad picture. I read somebody comparing it to a HS yearbook photo. I don't know what the hell the deal is with the gold streaks in the background.

Marty does need a lot of training to add some strength. I don't see him ever being that huge and carrying a lot of weight though. You can see how his body frame is pretty thin with narrow shoulders. He can still be an effective player but I can't see him ever being a huge strong presence in the low post.

Check this offensive set up.

Pg - Damon Jones
Sg - Luke Jackson
Sf - Donyell Marshall
Pf - Marty
C - Z

DJ, LJ and Marshall bomb away while Z and Marty continually grab the offensive boards and kick them back out to any of those three...we can call it the blitzkrieg
