Well he could have lost some weight since mucle weighs more then fat then turned a chunk of his remaining fat into muscle. And I think I'd prefer a toned Z on an ankle with 6 screws in it as opposed to a blubbery Z on an ankle with 6 screws in it.

Z was advised after his foot problems not to add weight to his frame to minimise undue stress on his feet. He would I'm sure do light weights, but hey its Z......blah blah blah

You can work out without putting on weight. You can get stronger and actually lose weight. That is not an excuse. You are acting like Z is Shaq Daddy and no one should question anything.

I'm not fully aware of who Martin Riggs is, but I get the jist. We are not to far off with money. I believe 10 million is fair, you say just over 8. I'll have a chat to Zydrunas and see what I can come up with.

As for the Croc Hunter, he is ok. Just gives weight to the stereotypical Aussie.

What the heck is going on here?

I am not sure what all this fuss is about. Z wants his final contract and is looking to retire afterwards. He knows he is an All-Star center and has put up solid consistant numbers through out his entire career. He wants to get paid. Doesn't everyone in the NBA want to get paid?

Fact is, Z is likely going no where else but back to his home in Cleveland. There is just no way in hell Z is going to a rebuilding team or going to earn that max deal.

Z will get paid 8-10 mil a year from Cleveland because Danny Ferry wants to keep his players happy.

Would he be insulted if given a low ball offer like 5-6 Million a year? I'm sure he would, because he believes he is worth more than that.

Tough time for Z, I don't think he will get the contract he is looking for, but I do believe that he will get something close to it.

Danny Ferry will hook his boy up.

Yea looks like Z will be our center barring any major unforseen things...Curry has a 75% chance at Chicago 15% chance going here and a 10% chance with Atlanta. why I say here more is because I know an insider who said we are trying to lure Curry here with around 8 or more mill a season...

You know, I heard the same thing. That we were looking at getting both Z _AND_ Curry.,.and it came from a reliable guy ....but I just discounted it as him being confused on his info, because I never could see how we could make it happen and fill our other needs. You certainly wouldn't want to put Z and Curry next to each other ...that would be to much immobility I would think. I just don't see them both coming here, it's one or the other.
