Its Funny man,I mean its really halarious(sarcasm) to see this guy beasting in the post season like this,am I suprised? Not in the least.
I wasnt going to post but i couldnt fight the URG.

I remember countless times ,when I would post trade senarios, and kick around different ideas to get this guy,and faced an on slought of persecution from various posters.
Kevin Durrant ,one of my favorite players in this league, dubs ZBo best power forward in the game,,,NOW IM DONE... SAID WITH THE BRADY QUINN VOICE LOL..

This is the worst thread of all time, bad spelling , grammar, content, basically a fail of epic proportions.

I am as surprised as anyone that Zbo has learned to play winning basketball. I will admit i thought of him as a cancer and wanted nothing to do with him.

Also, it puts the Pau Gasol trade into a different perspective, not nearly as one sided as once thought. The trade included Marc Gasol (starting center), they used the 2008 draft pick to trade for Darrel Arthur (6th man) and the 2010 pick became Vasquez (back up guard). Also, the trade allowed them to have the cap room to take on Zbo's salary. At the time a move that looked bad, but really the trade ended up helping Memphis re-do their roster.

As much as OKC should be a blue print on how to rebuild, Memphis can be the very same inspiration. Holding onto aging assets might prove to be less valuable than trading the assets this offseason to a contender and getting draft picks and young players in return.

its halarious? your rediculous.

Grammar aside, which is apparently too difficult for some of us, it is amazing that this is the same guy that was being traded around for virtually nothing a short time ago.

The Gasol trade turned into a real boon for Memphis. They got really bad long enough to pick up a bunch of lottery guys, and then got the brother of their star, who has turned into a more aggressive banger type center instead of a finesse guy. This Memphis team is looking pretty good, and Z-bo's commitment to defense, and rebounding have really been integral. I loved that game last night. They play as a real team, and it was interesting because I always thought that about OKC, but down the stretch westbrook got frustrated and tried to take over, and we see how little he and Durant trust everyone else. OKC right now, looks like the Lebron trying to do everything himself, and no one else is involved. That is why Memphis will beat them.

I wasn't against or for ZBo, but now I kind of wish we had gotten him. Still the risk involved was pretty high, and nobody could imagine the complete turn around he has had as a player and more importantly as a person. He seems to have gotten ahold of his ego and just let's his playing do the talking now.

It's a dice-roll with head-cases like Z-Bo, Artest, etc.
Yeah, they can sometimes turn it around but then you get the other side of the coin: StarBury, Ricky Davis, Randy Moss & Haynesworth in the NFL, etc.
Alot of teams don't like the risk, nor the drama involved with guys like that.
Look at the NFL draft, you have guys with 1st round talent being picked in the 2nd and 3rd rounds due to attitude problems, off-field incidents, etc.

Things have worked out well for Randolph in Memphis, but there's no telling if that would have been the case on another team, and in the end my money is still on his poor judgment shining through in the end.

Only took him 10 years in the NBA to act like a professional and adult and stop getting mixed up in fights, shootings, sexual assaults and drug dealers. Congratulations.

Which was more beneficial to the Grizzlies franchise: acquiring Z-Bo or having multiple lottery and first round picks since 2007? I'm leaning towards the picks, despite the fact they haven't always drafted the best players.

I have no problem admitting I didn't want him... (Another fucking guy we can call Z)... Anyways, this is not anywhere near the same black hole that was stagnating the offense and chucking shots in New York...He does play hard however... I will give him that..

He's having his nice little run now and within a year or so will be on the decline..
