I don't think it's been mentioned, but Sunday vs Indy, Z scored his 8000th career point. It was his 550th career NBA game in his 9th season.

Next up to hit that milestone - LeBron James, who is currently at 7979 career points in 299 career games.

Congratulation to Ilgauskas. Every milestone he achieves is so significant considering all the traumas physically and mentally he has been through to still be here.

As for LeBron......he's just a freak.

It's a nice milestone for Z... I still can't help but think what would have been had he not had all the foot problems. For him simply getting to 550 career games is a great achievement.

And the fact that LBJ is almost there in just about half the number of games is ridiculous...

^^ and at age 22... By the end of next season, LeBron will likely be the Cavs all time leading scorer.

Not to stray off topic, but sometimes I think of myself at age 22 and laugh :chuckles: No way I could handle myself like LBJ does, even for all the millions being thrown his way. I would have screwed up hardcore by now...

LeBrons Post game interview

I am from alabama and my league pass cut off right in the middle of the interview with Lebron after the game. It made me so mad.

anyway i was proud of the way lebron thanked his teammates for his quickest to 8,000 points. That is one of his qualities that made me a huge fan. Havent seen as much of this it seems this season, but was really good to hear someone of his calibur be humble and thank his teammates!
