Anyone hear about the new Netflix only show House of Cards? Apparently it's a remake of the old british show by the same name, but it's produced by David Fincher and starring Kevin Spacey. They're trying to revolutionize the way TV shows are presented, since the entire first season came out today on Netflix, and you can stream it beginning to end.

i'm excited to binge-watch this when i have the time. supposed to be slow at first but very good. i believe netflix ordered two full seasons, which is pretty cool.

haven't watched the americans yet. heard that it's decent but v heavy handed/dumbed-down.

I've been watching Banshee. Not sure if I like it or not but I'm still watching through 3 episodes. I'm just not sure what the main character is after, doesn't seem to be any reason why he does the things he does. What it does have going for it is lots of sexy naked chicks and some decent fight scenes, I think this is the only reason the show exists.

I'm about half way through the season and it's great. Quality on par with Showtime and HBO series. A brilliant move by Netflix to build their own exclusive content because streaming is the future of television. Aside from sports, I already almost exclusively watch streamed content. Even most of what I watch on DirecTV is now streamed on demand content. We already have one TV we don't even had a DirecTV receiver (and it's ridiculous monthly per receiver bill) connected to.
