Re: The Lebron Safari 2014
That is why this was the first time i have come in this thread for months and plan on not coming back for a bit. A bit too fantasy basketball for me. I would welcome him back knowing he is the best player in basketball and I took my talents to Scottsdale, so i am not as mad as others for him leaving (hated the way he left though)......but there is just way too much ifs going on for my liking.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014
I think the reason why we drafted Dion instead of Harrison Barnes, whom knew Kyrie and were really great friends - is to make room for Lebron in 2014.
Just my opinion.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014
In my opinion Chris Grant shouldn't be drafting people based on whether or not they are friends with Kyrie Irving. He should be drafting the guys he thinks project to be the best NBA players, and that is what he is doing.
I don't think there's any factual evidence to Grant drafting around the small forward position. For one, there's a very good chance we'll draft a small forward in this year's draft (perhaps Shabazz?). Further, LeBron can just as easily play power forward, or any other position for that matter. You could play the dude at center and just instruct the Cavs to run other teams off the court for entire games.
The fact is that Dion had a better statistical projection than Barnes and he also improved his sophomore season in college, whereas Barnes regressed. Dion can create for himself and others. Barnes can not. Dion has an explosive first step. Barnes does not. There are numerous reasons that could be given for why Waiters was not only a better prospect but was a better pick and fit for this team.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014
I got my very first tangible sign today from a person close to Lebron's camp.. And numerous connections to our team that Lebron is going to be seriously considering the possibility of returning to the Cavs after next season. Apparently has made his thoughts known, but was telling this guy so that he can get a feel for how the Cavs/Gilbert/fans would view that eventual possibility. Found it very interesting... Seems like he's attempting to have back door communications established.
