Personally, we should focus on getting a team that's good enough to win it all, with OR without him. If he wants to come along for the ride, more power to the guy.

But we have 4 guys that have a future on the team. 1-2 more who might be core pieces next year and 1-2 guys the next year. That's 6-8 guys + vets who give us the go ahead. We need to prove we're good enough to at least get the head start. THEN see what we'll do in 2014, and not put our rising hopes in a demi-god.

Forgot how good of a photographer I was... this was after the decision.

Figured if he does come back, I'd bring this to games on a sign and say "Never Forget", just to keep myself reminded not to get too in love with whats in front of me, knowing with him, nothing is certain

    I'm pretty sure that's what we're doing.

Does anyone else listen to Rover's Morning Glory? Last Friday Tommy Davidson(actor/comedian) was in studio and things got a little heated during and even more so after the interview. Well Tommy vented over the weekend on Facebook and explained what happened in a lengthy reply to a fan of his(definite TLDR type shit). Well some woman replied to his post claiming she had spoken with Lebron about the interview because a friend of his sent him video of the interview(on RMG).

    This is her Facebook account:

Not saying I buy it, just thought I'd bring it here to see what you guys think. She seems reasonably established in life and at first glance doesn't seem to be crazy.

This brings up the question though, if this were true and she's good friends enough with Lebron to talk to him and have him tell her this, why would she then post that on Facebook for anyone to see? Doesn't exactly make her buddy look too good and I'm sure he wouldn't dig that seeing as how image conscience Lebron is.

    Or she's just a liar.

So, is she an asshole or liar. Well, if she's lying she'd be an asshole too I guess.

    She's an asshole.

You honestly believe that this random lady from Wichita, Kansas knows LeBron? Lol. Come on now.
It's the same deal as the people who go on message boards and say "I know a guy who know a guy who's brother is Chris Grant and he told me..." and make up some crazy rumor. She might have just been making a joke.
Plus, LeBron's comments wouldn't even make sense in context. I can't believe you're even entertaining this as legit.

    Yup I'm sold man...

Edit: And by the way she doesn't appear to be just some country fuck from Wichita, Kansas. She's worked for Jordan's basketball camps in the past, dating back to when Kobe was still in High School. She has pictures with Jordan claiming he's been a friend for 25 years.

Did you even look around her profile? Or did you just look at her hometown then come in here to criticize me for posting a rumor that I said I didn't believe in the first place?

Thread has jumped the shark, and probably not for the first time.
Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.

Yes, but the real question is will Wade or Kyrie be better in 2014? Wade is also a 10 year vet who played in college three years. Kyrie has played roughly 100 game TOTAL since high school. Give the PG some time and I think he'll end up better than Wade.

The real question is will Miami even be able the keep all three? If they can't, I have a REALLY hard time believing LeBron will re-up to a depleting roster simply because of past success. We all thought the same in '10. We could honestly have a Miami-like roster appeal to LeBron in two years. Face it, man. I don't see him going to the Lakers, and Brooklyn can't afford to sign him. I feel like it's Cleveland or Miami in 2014. Period. The reason we won't get league-wide hate for adding LeBron to a talent-laden roster? Simple. Miami simply got the top three free agents in '10 because of the weather, Pat Riley, and the supposed easy path to the title. All that for arguably the worst fans in sports. We wouldn't be hated because Cleveland isn't a tourist destination, a eutopia of excellence, and it sure as hell doesn't have a long history of winning (not since before 1964, anyway). All of the moves the Cavs make to assemble a roster worthy of a championship would be homegrown through draft picks, careful trading, and a little luck. I would reckon there's a 50-50 shot of him coming back.
