    Clinton V Christie

That is, of course, the RNC doesn't ban Christie

Almost too hard to tell at this point, at least for the GOP. If they lose this election, the direction of the party is just very uncertain - who will be the leaders of the party? Will they move towards the center or will they move further right? There are a lot of really big questions that need answered.

I could see Rubio moving closer to the center and getting the nod - if that's the way the GOP goes. Otherwise, I have no idea.

EDIT - To Damage's point, Christie doesn't seem likely IMO. He's not really doing that well in NJ, and he'll never be able to win over hardcore conservatives. I think he's interesting though. No way Clinton runs IMO, she'll be almost 70 in 2016.

Same could be said for Mitt prior to being nominated.

Absolutely, but Romney has made a political career of completely reversing not just his positions on certain issues, but his entire political philosophy. I don't see Christie doing that, but who knows.

Thousands of Americans died in a war we entered because George W. Bush lied/had terrible information about Iraq having WMD. He got re-elected.
