Obama's plan isn't perfect, but it's realistic and will add at least 12 million new jobs if he gets a 2nd term (we're projected to do that regardless of the winner). Romney's plan doesn't even add up. I'm sorry, I can't vote for a guy with no realistic plan.

Realism isn't a plan. Its a sad excuse.

So we should go with a plan that sounds better but isn't realistic...?

Well, people can say anything they want. I could run for President and say I will give every American one million dollars, and that isn't realistic at all. Romney isn't super unrealistic or anything, but you do have to shoot for something better than realistic yes. Like a good old saying, shoot for the moon so if you don't make it you will at least be in the stars.

so you really think it's okay to promise the impossible just to get elected?

I'm sure Obama would love to outperform expectations. Realistic plan > unrealistic plan in my book.

He wants to increase spending, and let the government control private companies. The government needs to GTFO of the way of the private sector. Fu*k green initiatives, fix the economy then worry about clean energy!

All politicians promise more than what they can produce, but he's held up pretty well actually.

I've decided to let my out-of-state friends determine my vote based on whoever can compliment all three Cleveland sports franchises the most.

Not that it matters, because I voted early. I just want to see those fuckers squirm.

Can we reset the poll to have two different ones. Who you think will win, vs. who you voted for.

there is a difference between not accomplishing all that you promise for various reasons (such as the economy being in worse shape than anyone thought in September of 2008) and centering your campaign on promises that are mathematically impossible.
