As long as it works, basically. The track record speaks for itself.
Lakers with Phil - Perennial championship contender.
Lakers without Phil - Struggle to make playoffs.

Its pretty funny watching the Lakers as a Kings fan, they can't seem to work together and it seems like the egos clash too much to even bother playing team basketball. Kings are only 2 games behind the Lakers as of today, which is sad when you look at their payrolls. Mike is doing a god awful job with this team, if only he preached defense they might actually be respectable right now.

Fuck Miami. When I actually want them to win a game, they lose to the one team that I'm rooting against winning the most other than the Cavs: Portland, the current 8th seed in the West. Fuckers.

Game of the night: Spurs vs Grizzlies.

Not quite playoff intensity, but the play is close to playoff level.

I was there. It was truly phenomenal. Sat right behind the Spurs bench.

Atlanta in free fall. Not only losing, but losing to teams like us, Detroit, and Washington. Have a feeling the big names on the roster will be on the trading block.
Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.

It will be interesting to see what happens with him. The fan base has really started to turn on Horford, labeling him a "soft" big who doesn't like to rebound.

Phil was certainly awesome at getting clashing egos to fit and work together.

Speaking of the Hawks... they literally just scored 20 points in the first half. 15 in 1st, 5 in 2nd.. how does that happen?

Atlanta hawks 20pts first half. 5 pts second quarter. Both franchise records. Tied for 2nd worst in league history

Anybody else see Wade's comments after Miami's loss to Utah (in which Spo sat him for the whole 4th Q)? He dropped the dreaded "I'm just a player..." line.

    I smell trouble in paradise.
