Kyrie is getting raved about on twitter. From Dicky V, and Isiah. The world now knows what we all do.
If I sound ignorant, don't blame me. I post on realcavsfans.com

You can tell the people who haven't watched much of Kyrie play because they make arguments about him not being that special or that they'd take Holiday or Wall over him based on numbers alone. They're not seeing and appreciating the clutch nature of his 4th quarter play, his offensive fundamental soundness, his ability to post up, his unbelievable use of the glass and angles to get any shot he wants. Then they criticize his assist # and say he'll never be in the same league as a playmaker as Rose or Westbrook, ignoring the fact those to guys have far superior talent to receive passes and finish.

is it time to change the thread title to say Superstar instead of All Star?

Let's change it to Superstar when we start off the season next year on a torrid 12-3 pace, led by an early season MVP like performance by Kyrie.

"Luckily a couple of shots went in for me."

That's what I like about him, despite being on fire he's always underselling his own play in interviews, really down to earth...

My comment had nothing to do with market size. Only that I wouldn't be surprised if he left. And if you want to be technical about my post, Greenberg was talking about things outside of basketball luring Kyrie away. I never mentioned market.

I see your point, but at the same time, assist getters get assists. The talent around you may only account for 1 assist per game or so, in some cases, the way I see it. Maybe one assist would put Kyrie in a different category. But again, it's always hard to judge. Think Andre Miller on the Cavs.

Miller had Person and Murray, though, shooters - along with a fundamentally sound Clarence Weatherspoon and a chucker in Chris Gatling. Maybe the type of personnel is a bigger factor than talent level. Also, Miller played with the ball in his hands all the time - which, from my experience as a fan - is often a huge factor in assists - bigger than surrounding talent. Miller got 10.9 assists per game.

Just thinking out loud, but I don't think it's as simple as talent level.

I'm tired of people saying that Miami isn't a big market.

It's the 8th largest metro area in the US, 5.6 million people. Philly is #6 at 5.9 million. Cleveland is #28 with 2 million. Orlando is #26 with 2.1.

So, no, Miami is not NY, LA, or Chicago, with 19, 12.0, and 9 million respectively... but it's in the tier just below with the likes of Dallas, Houston, Philly, and DC.

Boston is #10 and 4.5 million.

If Miami isn't a big market, there are only 3 big markets...and 5 big market teams.
