Nice little player.. If you need some 4th quarter baskets I have no problem putting the ball in his hands and letting him go through his street ball routine to get buckets... If you need 25 points, he's a PG that can get you that.. Can he get you 25 wins ?

And no his defense is not improving.. Calderon toyed with him the other night..

    Again with the thread titles.

Kyrie has no help so he does as Kobe does and tries to do it himself and it doesn't always work. Lets stop acting like this was anything more than a throw away season.. the payroll proves that.

Wait, Kyrie Irving isn't a first team defender in his 2nd year in the NBA, with limited college and pro ball experience?

    Humbug!

No, he didn't. He said he didn't see it that way.. said Kyrie has been engaged in other games and the rest of the team wasn't.. that was the only comment.

He did lead them to 50 his 3rd year though, and I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to anyone who thinks something like that is happening here next year. This team is so far away it is ridiculous right now.

But also keep in mind Durant didn't have a deluxe talent like Tristan Thompson in the front court either to play with. So it goes both ways.

This is something I need to keep reminding myself of. Absent the Baron Davis number, I believe this is the lowest payroll in the league.
Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.

So I think we should wait next year to make conclusions. This is not about Kyrie himself, our team fucking sucks.

Still, I'm not saying he is Kevin Durant, but nobody tought KD would be the player he is today in his 2nd year. And guess what, he is a BAD defender.

Lol. And Michael Jordan led his team to a title in his 7th year (or 8th??). We are talking about Kyrie in year number 2. What does Kevin Durant's third season have to do with it?

The thread title changes are starting to get really lame.

People do realize Kyrie has only played 67 games in his professional career to go along with the 11 games in college for a grand total of 79 games played since he left high school.

Agreed a bit on the title changes. I think their funny in regards to our shit players, but people on the forum aren't going to feel good mocking the only bright spot this team has during a losing season. It doesn't bother me, but it will bother others.
