Re: Diet and Workout Routines
Has anyone heard of/tried Shakeology? I know someone who sells it/uses it. I think a month supply is about $120. Of course, since he sells it, he swears it's the best thing. I ask him for a sample, because I'm not about to shell out that money for something I'm not going to like.
I've tried to cut down on the sweets. Very hard for me to do.
I guess I'll give the greek yogurt a try. I always pass it up in the grocery store.Your body is my ballpoint pen, and your mind is my new best friend.

Re: Diet and Workout Routines
the thing about these juice diets is that theyre still fucking full of calories, I really dont see any benefit but rather the inability to eat your food every day

Re: Diet and Workout Routines
a minimal intake of protein and fats is not good (coincidentally enough, most of those ever-important vitamins in cleanses are fat soluble). also, limiting sodium and fiber intake = no bueno.
the additional sugar is also obv absolutely awful for a subset of the population (diabetics, those with kidney issues, etc).
there is nothing wrong with including a smoothie or juice or whatever the hell you want to call it each day. but it should be on top of an already-healthy, well-rounded diet. basically, to complement your overall diet...but a diet shouldn't be built around them.Last edited by Triumph36; 12-07-2012 at 04:38 PM.

Re: Diet and Workout Routines
being fat is disgusting. resisting cravings is the easiest way to avoid getting fat.
not difficult.

Re: Diet and Workout Routines
brown indian - a few strategies I've found helpful:
ephedra. this is found in bronkaid at your local drug store. you dont want to eat.
make your foods filling and low cal. Protein fills you up more than any other macronutrient. 100 calories of chicken breast will hold you oever much longer than 100 calories of a twinkie.
stay away from sugar as it ends up making you hungry.
a new addition to my menu is miso soup; 35 calories a bowl, 3 grams of protein. salads are good (fat free catalina) and spinach (huge can is 150 calories minus fiber and will fill you up)Dave_K in moderation in 2013
