I would love to see Colt thrown into the fire for 2 games just to end this awful debate already. There is a good chance Weeden is not the answer. There is a 100% chance that Colt is not.

Our best receiver is most lethal as a deep threat. How do you expect noodle arm McGoo to utilize that?

Same thing we used to tell our pee-wee football players, "Take two steps back and fire that thing as far as you can."

I have been in the Sunday conversations, Quad.

I actually thought I recognized you... Until I realized you can get a hair drug test done on your brows.

Who did Colt have to throw to? Gordon is great, but he is still raw and inconsistent. His best route is the deep ball. How was Colt going to get the ball to him?
Who was running the ball? We were 25th in running last year, compared to 28th this year. So you are saying because we moved up 3 spots we're a much better running team?
Who was protecting him on the right side of the line? I like Schwartz. But it sounds like you are blaming all of the line woes on one person. Pashos was not accounting for 13 additional sacks. The rest of the line is the same.

Because I've seen him play and he can't throw more then 20 yards.

Who did Colt have to throw to?
Peyton Hillis, Evan Moore and Ben Watson for one. I'm not sure how Gordon's or Benjamin's deep threats are going to help him. Thanks to Colt, Big Foot aka Carlton Mitchell got cut.

    Who was running the ball?
If you recall Hillis did have a good year in Cleveland.

Who was protecting him on the right side of the line?
Most of the line is the same.

But he's Colt McCoy he must be good! OMG look at his career QBR a total of two points better then Weedens! He must be better!

Carlton Mitchell got cut because of Colt McCoy?

McCoy was 15-of-35 on passes of 21 yards or more, Brandon Weeden is 10-of-47.

Hillis, Watson and Evan Moore...Well if you can't win with a decent tight end, Kansas City's backup running back and the Eagles third tight end.....Just who CAN he win with?
Manziel's reps also insist it's a hoax -- and he's never made a penis video on "It's a Small World" or any other Disney ride.

Awful attempt at a joke because he had a cult following.

Yeah and how many of those 15 were 30 yards? How many of Brandon Weeden's were drops by the WR's? I can think of 2 off the top of my head (Little Vs the Eagles and Gordon's endzone drop).

Hillis, Watson and Evan Moore...Well if you can't win with a decent tight end, Kansas City's backup running back and the Eagles third tight end.....Just who CAN he win with?
KC's backup HB had over a 1k yards one year. Evan Moore was decent and had a better year then Cameron right now.

    Cameron: Receptions 20
    Receiving yards 185
    Receiving touchdowns 1

    Evan Moore:
    2010 Cleveland Browns 16 322 1
    2011 Cleveland Browns 34 324 4

You're going to lean on a guy who had one good year? Hell, bring back Braylon Edwards then...

Carlton Mitchell's cult following doesn't do anything for the fact that he fucking sucked.

Good thing Colt McCoy didn't have to deal with drops....

Evan Moore sucks, and has been cut by two teams in the last few months.

How come his away numbers are so much better than his home numbers?

    Home: 54.2% completion, 5 TDs 12 INT, 1510 YDS, 58.5 QBR
Away: 60.6% completion, 9 TDs 5 INT, 1771 YDS (in 2 less games) 87.7 QBR

Do you think it could be that at home, he puts too much pressure on himself to throw the perfect pass every time? I think that may have something to do with it. Maybe he feels less pressure to perform away from home. I just thought it was interesting how much better he is away from CBS. If he had replicated his numbers at home as he did away, this would not even be a discussion.

It will be interesting to see how he does away from home against 2 good defenses. Maybe he will play better with less pressure to perform.

Probably has something to do with adjusting to playing by a lake, IMO. He was throwing across the great plains throughout college.

LOL @ calling Ben Watson, Evan Moore, and Peyton Hillis viable targets. Also, Gordon is more than a deep threat. Take the Weeden blinders off man. He sucks just as bad as McCoy (with better options). He is nothing more than DA 2.0
