That was a much younger Josh Cribbs and a pre concussed MoMass. Problem is McCoy has a noodle arm and couldn't throw deep to MoMass. Instead he put him in danger and got him hurt. It's not my fault McCoy got hurt, he had 2 years dude. Face it, he failed! You're so apologetic for McCoy and so quick to throw Weeden out under the bus. It might be because McCoy is such a nice guy and Weeden is a fire crotch.

Did you read what I said? Neither are the answer. Colt McCoy is an NFL backup...so is Weeden. I'm not saying he's anything more, just saying that Weeden has had a much better chance at success than McCoy did. Cribbs was never an NFL-quality WR. Mo Mass is a #3 at best. Compare that to having Richardson, Little, Gordon, Benjamin at your disposal with a pretty solid offensive line, and you cannot possibly argue that McCoy had a better shot.

Yes, Weeden has a stronger arm. So does Derek Anderson (who, by the way, is the same age as Weeden and an 8 year pro). It doesn't mean he's a good QB. I have no issue with Weeden as a person, I just don't view him (or, again, McCoy) as the long-term answer. If that makes me a McCoy apologist or Weeden "hater", so be it.

I don't really care about Weeden's age. Warner wasn't exactly young when he started playing at the level he did. Roger Staubach wasn't exactly young either.
