Just got my copy, anyone know the best way to spam up VC? is it worth doing or can you level up in my career quickly?

Just put the difficulty to HOF, and play some play now games on 12 minute q's. Get 600 VC for playing the game, and I think 10 for winning. It will help you learn the game faster, and get VC relatively easy. I turned the 8 seconds rule off, and just get control of the ball and let thegy stand there for the full game if i'm doing something like watching tV. Some might call it cheating, I call it multi tasking.

Play 1v1 blacktop as Steve Novak versus a bad guard and just shoot the three right when you get the ball every time. It gets an easy 160 VC every 5 minutes or so, but sometimes the game doesn't give you your VC.

125 VC = Play 1 on 1 blacktop and choose Boobie, Mike Miller, or Jason Richardson. Shoot the 3 every time.

250 VC = Play any online game. The suckier team you play with the more bonus VC you get win or lose.

600 VC = Using a wired controller (wireless will just shut off) start a game with 12min quarters and put it on coach mode. I usually do this before bed or before I leave home.

1000 VC = Complete the training camp which is pretty easy.

Download the MyNBA2K app on your Apple products. They have some pretty good mini games that earn you some VC without really having to try hard.

I don't mean to brag man, but I did say when I got this game that I would be upgrading Dion to a 75 before I start mycareer because he would be better than the game had him. Look who was right.

Wow, took a lot of the effort and fun out of it by doing that imo

You can earn VC by playing regular dynasty mode because I find it much more entertaining than my palyer. For every 10 games you get about 8,000 VC and more for the playoffs, season awards iirc

Hey, it's the quickest way..

Plus, I don't have nearly enough time as I like to play this game. Two jobs kills me, so when I do play it's nice to know my guys a boss.

Dion might get a boost but 2K has never shown Andy any love. Last year I believe they had him in the high 60s to start the season only to bump him up to a 71 before he went down. He should be close to 80.

I just edit the rosters myself after getting the rookies and all of that.

I put Andy at 82 and Dion at 75.

i fortunately pretty much quit video games, but was gonna gamefly 2k13 for a month or two just to play with some interesting teams a bit. stupid sale is gonna pull me back in

Just so you all know, there has been a roster/ratings update. Kyrie is an 85 and Varejao a 76. No change for Waiters.

Waiters plays just how he does in real life at his rating he was given, no change needs to be made for him.

Varejao is consistently the one NBA player that 2K can never replicate accurately. To the date, they have never had an accurate Anderson Varejao in any of the 2K games, and I've been playing since Dreamcast.
