Recently picked this up and LOVE it. I'm not very good since the only other basketball game I owned was 2k11 and I really only did career mode with that game, but I'm getting better. Having a blast playing association mode. I'm not as patient as our real rebuilding Cavs, and my bench was killing me. I signed Delonte West as a sixth man and the 3 guard rotation Of Irving, Waiters, and West is murdering it. This game is realistic, because TT fumbles every pass and gets half his shots blocked I packaged him with the Cavs 2014 pick (I'm expecting to make a big splash in free agency in the offseason) to nab MKG. Now the only problem is I have NOTHING at the 4 lol. Gonna stop talking about this cause no one gives a shit.

I got this game last sunday.

My online record is currently 15-4. For some reason it feels like it got harder to controller players (both on the ball and off the ball) on defense. Its really easy for offensive players to blow by. Other than that, this game is amazing!

Anybody else in their My Career's ever get the players they ask the management to trade for?

So far I'm in my third season with Portland, won a title last season, and asked them to trade for Alonzo Gee(he was just one of 4 others, of course). Now this year I went above the radar to see if they could workout something, picked guys like Rondo and Kyrie Irving - then went down a little with Amar'e Stoudemire, among other 88+ bigs.

Needless to say, got an alert saying they acquired Stoudemire for JJ Hickson and Wesley Matthews.

My franchise lineup for the 2013/14 season is kyrie, Dion, mkg, favors, and Howard with west, Av, and Gee off the bench. I'm a god damn genius of a GM.

And yes, for some reason the wizards sim out VERY well in this game.

After my first season and drafted Cody Zeller. Then I traded the Zeller brothers for Derrick Favors. I'm beyond stacked.

BTW, they have not quite found out how to realistically simulate free agency. Dwight Howard signed with my Cavs and CP3 signed with the Milwaukee Bucks. Wtf???

CP3 signed with the bucks in 2k11 all the time too...it's very odd

The worst is when the ai teams stack one spot with 3 good players..annoys the crap out of me...I usually turn off cpu trades until a week before the trade deadline, the draft, leave it on for the pre-season then turn it back off

This helps some because then the pc isn't trading to stack spots they don't need, at least from what I've seen

They DRASTICALLY changed the game about a week ago with an gameplay update.

I hate the new update, but I still win nearly every game I play lol
