Don't even bother playing online games against people who can't do anything but use a stacked team.

I played a few games and played the Lakers every time, I was the Cavs and then the Celtics because I wanted to use Rondo. Won a few, lost one, but the point is the people online just want the best players possible on their team.

Yeah, I obviously haven't played a ton online, but I'm going to assume that 98% of the teams you play are the Lakers, Heat, Thunder, or Knicks.

For the Heat slow down the temp under coach settings. Use your big man and play in the key. The thunder you just need to play tight man to man, but play the big when westbrook has the ball.

Is this game worth the money I'm thinking about dropping? Probably won't take it online a ton unless I play against people on here. Will probably do a lot of My Player and Franchise.

This was definately one of the best 2k's i've played personally. I think it's worth the money, but if I were you i'd get a second hand one because it'll be cheaper.

I haven't owned a 2k game since 2010 I think, but I'm probably gonna pick it up as a nice change of pace game from Black Ops 2.

For me personally, it's more fun to use a bad team. I normally run with the Cavs or Pistons lately. It's a lot tougher to score as there's no guy you can just ram down the lane with and dunk. You have to actually know how to play. Plus, If I used a stacked team I almost always blow out the other team which just becomes super boring.

Good players don't need superstars to win games. I for one hate the fact that some stars are overrated rating wise, which makes it frustrating to play against stars like LeBron, Wade, etc.

If you're not very good at the game.. Sure, use a star-studded team, because you'll probably need the help for awhile.

I use Harrison Barnes in my online franchise, and he dominates. I used him online against my buddy and he dominated as well. Was pretty entertaining.

I'd rather get spanked with the Cavs than beat someone's ass with the Heat or the Lakers. I don't play anyone who picks any of the "super" teams. They usually just cheese with the star players. I like a sim style of basketball. Swinging the ball around the court for an open corner three is like poetry in motion for me. I don't like having a guy go ISO with Lebron all game to rack up 60 points with him. Anybody can do that if you know the ISO controls.

Denver Nuggets are my go to team online. They are fun as hell since pretty much everybody on that roster is at least competent. I can usually beat the good teams with that roster.

Under the radar over powered team: The clippers. Just for shits and giggles I used them until I lost...well I haven't lost yet. Give it a try.

Most annoying player on the game is Jamal Crawford, literally hits everything.
Find myself wanting to jump out of a window every time I play someone who uses the Clippers.

Yeah the Clips are pretty good in this game. Paul and Griffin are obviously good, but that team is just really deep. Bledsoe, Billups, and Butler are all 80+ overall, while Crawford(79), Jordan, Barnes, and Hill are all 70+. Odom and Green are 69 and 68 respectively.
