Re: 2013 NBA Draft
Can someone talk me into Len? I know he's been getting a ton of hype but I'm afraid he's going to end up soft in the NBA. I have the same concerns with Zeller. My favorite big man is probably Noel.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
So, McAdoo, poor man's Shawn Marion? At best? I haven't seen a ton of him, but he doesn't impress me.
Does Cleveland actually have good luck?

He's having a really solid season so far, very consistent since being the starter
Signifcant improvement from his freshman year to this year

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
Indiana is running UNC out of the gym right now. Just the 1st half but Zeller is doing a little bit of everything, kid plays with intensity, passion and just has a real nice all around game. I've questioned his game in the past but he looks legit to me tonight.
Does Cleveland actually have good luck?

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
I love Zeller. Probably not going to come out til 2015, though.
When in doubt, step up the defense

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
McAdoo doesn't look too sick, he has a nice turnaround but I don't see him having the skillset to play on the perimeter. No way I say.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
I think McAdoo would benefit from a more open NBA style game. However, he just doesn't seem to have a position. He is a combo forward and in many ways that is a curse.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
Len has a VERY nice post game and great footwork in the paint, he can also hit jumpers from a foot inside the 3 point line. He is a huge offensive threat, and I think he can be solid on defense too if he bulks up a bit. He is a perfect compliment to TT.
Unrelated: I have been down on Zeller as of late, but he is beasting it against UNC right now, and surprisingly has some nice blocks despite his supposed T-Rex arms.
EDIT: I don't think Zeller will be a good Pro though, great college player, but not worthy of a top 10 pick in my eyes.Last edited by NtG; 11-27-2012 at 11:04 PM.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
Len just had a really good stretch to start the 2nd half for Maryland, this is against Northwestern but he's just beasting.
Edit: Reminds me a bit of Big Z. Am I crazy?Does Cleveland actually have good luck?

Remind me again, who does UNC have at the 5?

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
About 3 weeks ago Len and Noel played each other
Len played 32 minutes to Noel's 26
Len had 23 (10/18fg 55% 3/4 ft) points to Noel's 4 (2/6 fg 33% 0/3ft)
Len had 12 rebounds to Noel's 9
Len had 4 blocks to Noel's 3
Neither had an assist
Noel had 2 steals to Len's 0
Both had 3 fouls
Both had 0 to's
Also found it interesting that Len has yet to have a game where he shot less than 53%Last edited by KB; 11-27-2012 at 11:09 PM.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
On a sidenite, IU is sick as hell.
Crean turned us around big time. Feels awesome to have been a senior during the resurgence last year.
Cody still hasn't gotten a big post challenge - most interested to see him against MSU.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft
Whenever McAdoo plays, I find myself wanting a bit more from every aspect of his game. He has good (not great) touch, very good (not freak level) athleticism, an above average (not great) jumper... I wonder if that's just because he's a still-developing sophomore, or because he just doesn't have it in him to be an elite-level NBA player. Their games aren't similar at all, but that was the feeling I got watching Thomas Robinson last year (except for his rebounding).
