Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.
Oh yeah...does anyone have a link for uniform rules for the NBA? I know people have mentioned the striping issue before, so I'd just like to have a copy of the guidelines so I can make sure I create a concept that fits within them. Thanks.

Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.
I haven't posted in years but I did create 2 mash ups a couple months ago and thought some people would enjoy them along with getting some feedback.

Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.
I know I just said I don't like "mashups" but I dig the one on the bottom.
But personal preference I don't dig the constant need (not just by you but by others and some of the actual team ones) to wedge the blue into the wine & gold motif though like the top ones.
If you changed the one up top to the standard gold from the striped template your working on I'd like it a lot better. The size of the "CAVS" seems like it should be just a little bigger also.
And I am a stickler for needing one of the jerseys to actually say "Cleveland" so with the wine one instead of "avaliers" with the feather 'C' you could make it "leveland."
Like I said though that's just my personal preference.Just win.

Looks like nobody requested for these to come back, but they are;

Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.

I may be in the minority here, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED these freaking jerseys!!!
CANT WAIT to get me one! Literally just posted a thread in the classified section looking for one because they're so damn difficult to find, now I can just wait get me a Irving edition. I hope I can snatch an authentic version, I don't want mine with the Adidas logo.
Cheaa!

Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.
Ugh... Ugliest jerseys ever. They only remind me of a period of futility and boring Mike Fratello managed games. IMO, the only time a team should wear throwback jerseys that correlate with a mediocre/losing era is when it is the team's original colors (i.e. our wine and gold throwbacks a few years back).

Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.
Ugh, I'm still trying to forget those things. They need to put those fuglies in mothballs and leave them there. The Cavs tried to get a little too modern & edgy with that logo, as well as the uniforms, and they clearly overshot.
Other than the logo & uniforms being atrocious, that era of Cavs basketball does little to bring back warm & fuzzy memories. I recall the transition of Price-Daugherty-Hot Rod to Brandon-Phills-Mills-Hill. The one constant under those Mike Fratello led Cavs was overachieving in the regular season & losing in the first round of the playoffs.Last edited by sailfish; 07-24-2012 at 09:08 AM.

Re: 2012 Cavaliers Alternate Jersey 'sandbox' thread.
^ I seen a similar jersey like that one being sold in the Team Shop last year, except the gradient effect wasn't there - just all black with gold number/lettering.
Could that be the 'official' alternate jersey? If so, I'm not mad
