Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
Just clinched that in my other league, 11-3 most points by 142. First Reg. season title in that league for me. Been in it 7 years. Also, I am happy to take second in the RCF alt. league, with the most points.

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
Well, Dez Bryant's finger may hurt my chances the rest of the way in one league. Boooooo.

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
Sucks I got eliminated from my money league another year, another 1st round exit. Brees and his 1TD-7 Ints these last 2 games weren't helpful & Bryce Brown 0 points when it matters most

I would go with Gordon as well. After that 200+yd game Blackmon hasn't eclipsed more than 64 yds the last 3 games & Brown has been a disappointment the whole season, I own him in 1 league and would drop him in a second to pick up Gordon.

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
So here are my two dilemmas going into the semifinals of my two leagues:
League 1:
RGIII or Jake Locker? This is a start 2 QB, 4 pt/TD thrown league, so the availability of QBs to be had are slim to none. I also have Ryan Tannehill. These guys will be paired with Matt Ryan.
League 2:
Dez Bryant or Kenny Britt? Britt has come on the past 4 or so games and is coming off of his best game of the year. Unfortunately, he is going up against the Jets who are also coming along of late on defense.
Of course, all of this would be moot if these two guys would just be out this week. Unfortunately, it looks like both situations are going to play out and be a gametime decision. What I fear most is that both will play and neither will finish.
Another thing that I have to deal with, and it is the bane of multiple leagues, is that players I have in one league my opponent in the other league has against me. What the fuck am I supposed to do when Matt Ryan throws a td for and against me? I hate that shit. I end up cheering for mediocrity...a good day but not too good.

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
Flex, DMC or Crabtree? DMC has been mighty disappointing and is banged up. Crabtree seems to have developed some chemistry with Kaepernick and I expect the ball to be thrown a lot as the Pats put up points.
I put in a waiver claim on Steve Smith (someone dropped him for some reason) but I'm not sure if I will land him, don't have priority. If I do pick him up he'd be an option as well."Any asshole can be a father, I want to be a champion." - The League

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
Colin Kaepernick @NE
or
RG3 @CLE (Not sure if he will play, and if he does the injury could severely affect his mobility)
or
Carson Palmer vs KC
or
Matt Schaub vs IND
???We are all Witnesses to this Quitness.

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
Josh Gordon, easy call here.
Wanna stay with the homer pick and go with my boy Gordon, but Nicks and Decker are elite. However.. I still think Gordon will have a score this week along with 80-90 yards.
RG3, if he plays, Tannehill against the Jags would be my next bet considering Locker will play against a solid Jets defense.
League two, I'd go with Britt considering Dez Bryant is hurting here.
Also looking for some help here..
Running back: Currently have Frank Gore, Michael Turner, and just picked up DeAngelo Williams. Obviously going with Gore for No.1, but Turner has been able to score for the past few weeks here, so it's between those two.
Wide receiver: Starting A.J Green for sure, but with Jordy Nelson out I have Josh Gordon, Pierre Garcon, and Mike Williams. Williams has a good matchup against the Saints, so I considered starting him.. But right now have Gordon and Garcon in.
Defense: Browns defense against Redskins, Jets on the road against Titans, or St.Louis at home against the Vikings.
Safe to say, I'm looking at a loss considering the matchups of the other team, also having Aaron Rogers playing like shit and playing Chicago on the road gives me no confidence.

Re: Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football
The first round bye saved me last week, now it's time to get back to business.
Man Gronk getting hurt really screwed the pooch for me.
QB: RG3 (not sure if healthy) or Big Ben?
HB: Turner and Bryce Brown (has to be that's all I got with Shaddy being hurt)
WR: AJ Green (GIVEN Starter), but I don't know who to start after that. I have Cecil Shorts, Flash Gordon, Sydney Rice, and Jeremy Maclin. I also have Brandon Gibson, but he isn't worth starting.
TE: Myers (with Gronk out)
K: Dawson
Def: Cardinals vs. Det or Denver Vs BaltimoreLast edited by The Voice; 12-13-2012 at 07:51 AM.
OU... OH YEAH!!!!
