Re: Around the NFL 2012-2013
Now the Steelers HAVE to lose on Sunday to give the Browns a shot.

Re: Around the NFL 2012-2013
The funny thing is that the footballoutsiders sabremetrics have usually put us as more "deserving" of a playoff spot (in terms of "DVOA" value) than the Colts (who we would've beaten if it weren't for the home field advantage of a partially open dome.)
It's true that other than a Green Bay game in which they were dominated much of the game, the Colts have been stomped by pretty much every good team they've played, and have barely beaten many of the bad teams they've played, or lost to them (Jacksonville once.)
That site also has had us pretty consistently at the same, 25th-27th best team in the league, both when we were 0-5 and now; we are largely the same team, but it's just that the schedule was very front-loaded.
As far as your 2nd sentence goes, the next 3 games--not just whether they win but how they lose if (and probably when) they do--will go a long way towards which direction they want to take. I would only keep Shurmur under an 8-8 season."Who cares if you disagree? You are not me...who made you King of Anything?"

The Jets are an absolute laughing stock. What a bunch of fucks. I will relish in watching them blow that shit hole of an organization up.

Re: Around the NFL 2012-2013
At this point, hard to imagine that the Browns fleeced the Jets

Not really, they could've used a lot of players that they passed on, but getting Sanchez would've been a disaster for the Browns.

And now McElroy is starting for the Jets. I've said he's the best QB on that team all season. Not really saying much though...
