Revis better play like he was before his injury for this to be a win for the Bucs. Alot of money is going to be involved and that pick is going to be worth something.

I know Eric Wright isn't great or anything, but he's decent - especially with guys like Revis, Goldson, and Barron backing you up.

    Scary secondary for the Bucs..

I'm assuming the Bucs will just basically pay him 16m a year in base salary, much like they are paying Vincent Jackson 11m every year. I think they are a pretty low income club, so it doesn't make sense for them to lay out a lot of bonus money each year. Essentially paying contracts year to year and game to game with a cashflow. The rolling average minimum salary thing is a bear if low income teams fall beneath it.

New Raven Rolando McClain arrested for disorderly conduct

Posted by Michael David Smith on April 22, 2013, 6:00 AM EDT
    AP
Rolando McClain’s career with the Raiders fell apart in large part because of his inability to stay out of trouble off the field. Now his time with the Ravens is off to a bad start.
McClain, the linebacker who signed with the Ravens this month after being cut by the Raiders, was arrested on Sunday night in his hometown of Decatur, Alabama.
WHNT reports that McClain was charged withdisorderly conduct and resisting arrest after an incident at a local park. Witnesses said they saw McClain cursing at police officers before he was handcuffed and taken away.
McClain’s previous arrests have included everything from assault to driving with windows that were tinted too darkly.

The 23-year-old McClain was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft and was the Raiders’ starting middle linebacker for most of his three seasons in Oakland. But his talent may not be enough to outweigh his off-field troubles, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Ravens cut him.

Don't love it, don't hate it.. I do, however, hate the helmets.. You'll probably see something like this for the Browns. Maybe not design or whatnot, but the fact that every color they have is a main color on its own unique jersey. I kinda feel like the Browns will have a bunch of new jerseys when its all said and done.

I think they're pretty sharp. Still can't figure out wtf Jax was thinking making their uniform color black though. Searing sun and ridiculous humidity in that swampland.

I'm kind of surprised the blended helmet is legal.

    Barry Sanders wins Madden vote

"Old school" won out over "new school."

Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders beat out reigning NFL MVP Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings to land the coveted cover of "Madden NFL 25."

The vote, which came down to perhaps the most elusive running back in NFL history against the powerful and speedy Peterson, was announced Wednesday night on "SportsNation" on ESPN2.

Sanders won by garnering 58 percent of the more than 700,000 votes cast on the final matchup. There were 40 million votes tallied throughout the entire competition.

"Congrats to my guy Barry Sanders for winning the 2013 Madden Cover! Any other guy to take me down... it would've been a problem! Salute," Peterson wrote on Twitter.

This year marks the 25th edition of the ultra-popular video game. The final vote was reflective of EA Sports' celebration of legends and current players.

Sanders' march to the cover in voting included wins over newly retired Ray Lewis and fellow Hall of Famers Joe Montana and Jerry Rice.

The victory also made it back-to-back Detroit Lions on the cover after wide receiver Calvin Johnson won last year. Johnson snapped the stigma of the "Madden Curse" in 2012, breaking Rice's NFL single-season receiving yards mark.

Sanders, 44, spent his entire 10-year career with the Lions, rushing for 15,269 yards and 99 touchdowns before stunningly walking away after the 1998 season.

Sanders and Peterson are linked, as each rushed for more than 2,000 yards in a season. Sanders rushed for 2,053 yards in 1997 while Peterson just missed breaking Eric Dickerson's single-season mark last season, running for 2,097 yards.

It's the second time that Sanders will grace the cover of the game. He also was featured in an action shot in the background of the "Madden NFL 2000" cover.

Other players to have appeared on the cover of the video game include Marshall Faulk, Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Brett Favre and Drew Brees.
