Pass rusher and secondary. Fill those 2 holes and the Browns could be one of the best defenses in the NFL.

If we could somehow get a second rounder I would love if our draft could look something like this:

    1st - Manti Teo, LB
    2nd - Brandon Jenkins, DE
    3rd - Bacarri Rambo, S
    Chart of Seans
Sean - Your child will be a heavy drinker. - thanks keys
Shawn - Your child will be a ladies man.
Shonn - Your child will fumble often.
Shawon - Your child will play second base forever.
Chone - Your mother smoked rocks.
Chaun - Your child will look like an athlete, but actually suck.
Shaun - Your child can't keep his hands off other men's junk.

We're 10th pick in the draft now. Dee Milliner would be my top target there

Teo isn't going to be what he is in college. Trade down and get a second rounder.

Soo, hypothetically here. Let's just say that we win one more game this season and end up drafting 10-12. All the top Defensive prospects are off the board (Werner, Milliner, Moore, Jones, Teo), no options to trade down, and the best player left on the board might be Keenan Allen. Do you possibly take a WR with that 1st rounder if he's the best available player instead of reaching on a DL or CB you might not be sold on? I'd rather sign a vet WR to play the slot, but the idea of Gordon, Allen, and Little is certainly intriguing to say the least, especially given the new rookie wage scale. I don't think we'll wind up in that situation, but just wondered what people's thoughts would be if something such as this happened.

I just continue to not be able to get on board with taking an inside linebacker with our first pick. I'll take younger pass rushers, corner and safety, maybe a WR before even feigning interest. Later in the draft I'd be more interested in TE and LB type picks where position value is poor.

Corner and Rush DE are necessities for the Browns in the draft. Getting high quality talent via free agency at those positions is cost prohibitive. You can find OLBs and safeties in free agency and not pay out the ass, no need to draft them high.

If those top prospects on D are gone at 10-12 or the middle of the round Chance Warmack is an excellent guard prospect. Pair that with Richardson's healthy ribs and I think we see far less 20 carries 73 yardstype games.

I could get on board with Chance. He'd probably make the Browns O-Line the best in the league. Thomas, Warmack, and Mack on the left side? Good God.

I was just going to advocate for Warmack. However, I think with the amount of defensive talent at the top of the draft and the potential for both Wilson and Smith going top 10, one of the DEs like Werner, Mingo, or Montgomery could fall to the Browns.

Where is Dion Jordan slotted to go? If the Browns keep pulling out wins and he's there I'd take a swing on him. Boom or bust pick, but his athleticism is undeniable. God I hope Heckert is making the pick.

To be conservative, I would say late first or perhaps early second. He will blow up at the combine obviously so he will rise quick. He reminds me of Adalius Thomas - Oregon literally puts him everywhere.

The great thing about this particular draft is that while we do have some needs, they aren't necessarily extremely pressing. Sure, a stud pass rushing RDE would be great, but our defense will still be good if we can't get one in the 1st. Ditto for CB and FS. The o-line will still be good if it remains the same. However, there's a few positions that if you can add the right player, you take that position group from good to elite. The right OG could give us the best O-Line in the league. The right WR would give us the best young receiver core and possibly the best receiving core period in a year or two. The right DE gives us one of the best d-line rotations in the league. I think you get the point.

It just further illustrates how well Heckert has done since taking over as GM. Will be interesting to see what happens these next tree weeks and where we ultimately land.

I think we've probably reached our limit on high draft picks for the OLine.

I sure hope so, we have much more pressing issues than our guards.
