Lovie needs an absolute stud OC. I don't see one of those available. I really hope they don't go the Lovie route.
I can't believe Dungy is only 57 years old. He looks 80. Throw the house at him. He built Jon Gruden's Super Bowl winning Bucs team that all the Gruden lovers keep pointing to as proof.

Just for the love of god do not switch back to the 3-4. I can't go through that overhaul again.

$50 RCF bet against cmstophe and jigo_oi that the Browns will make the playoffs in 2013.
Made in the Week 5 gameday thread.

Unpopular opinion time, but I'm glad we fired Heckert. Watching these playoffs has revealed that, in a draft that may have had three franchise quarterbacks (you know, the one thing every team needs to win a Super Bowl), we managed to draft the guy who's three years older than I am and decidedly not in that category.

I wouldn't mind wisenhunt. Since Warner left he's had Anderson, Skelton, kolb, and lindley at qb, along with a god aweful offensive line bad running backs and a horrible owner. He did achieve some great things while at Arizona. I have my doubts about him but I'm not thrilled with anyone else that is out there.

Trestman and Arians. Two former shitty Browns OCs. I like it! SIIIIKEEEE.
Why are we not hearing the name of Mike McCoy?

Re: Browns coaching search *Chip Kelly out* post#1612
Anyway you look at it, Heckert did a good, if not great, job here in Cleveland as the lead on personnel matters the past couple of years. Plain and simple, the only reason he's not here is because Banner wants to maintain all power, which should concern all Browns fans. It'll be nice if we get a good head coach, but we have bigger issues now.

I'm still disappointed we let go of Heckert. And I also have concerns that Banner wants too much power and doesn't know enough to achieve it.

No idea if this was posted, but this is a short paragraph from Hensley's article on ESPN that names some candidates.

Nothing ground-breaking or new really. What's next? Back to square one for the Browns. Get ready for the second phase of the coaching search that may include the likes of Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy and 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman.
