Re: Who is our head coach in the 2013 Opener
I heard Bill bought a house in Strongsville a couple years back. He decided to just rent it out for those few years in anticipation of his buddy Jimmy Haslam buying the Browns.
OU... OH YEAH!!!!

Not to add to it but Cowher mentioned how he liked Weeden and saw him higher than what he was on Marino's list.

Seems like Chip Kelly would be a bold move that would either pay off big, or end in complete failure.

Not saying we're gonna get him because he'll just re-sign with New Orleans but...
NFL voided contract extension Sean Payton agreed to with Saints, making him a free agent after this season. is.gd/ar7SsH

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2013 Opener
Don't forget about Jerry Jones in Dallas. Payton's wife already lives in Dallas, and pretty sure his kids go to school there; plus, nobody outbids Jerry.
If Haslam is serious about getting Payton, then he might not have an issue getting into a bidding war vs JJ. We can call it 'Flying J vs Double J'.

Anyone have an argument for keeping Shurmur until the end of the season?

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2013 Opener
What do people think of Kevin Gilbride (Giants OC)? He got a head coaching job in the 90s, but he hasn't done anything at the head coach level since. I think the Giants offense would work really well here (featured back, simple pass routes) and I wondered what everyone else thought.
