Re: RCF 2k9: The return of the realness
I want to join - DwitnessX. Will send my team choice later today.
If the point is to go back to the realness that was 2k9, when I made the finals, why don't we go back to a fantasy draft? I think it would be more fun if we actually had a chance to land some stars...

Re: RCF 2k9: The return of the realness
The computer plays much more realistic this year on Superstar and I think this will be the season we can finally play some games against and trade with the CPU like a full league. Would kill that if we all did a fantasy draft. I have a association going offline and I play pretty much all my games and the computer plays like a real NBA team would. I dont think we will have that frustrating shit we had last year where the CPU was shooting 70% every game and stealing every pass we tried.

Re: RCF 2k9: The return of the realness
Can you send me the sliders so I can mess around with them?
What are are trade rules? Would like to know how much roster flexibility I have before committing to a bummy team.
Any expectations for when we will kick things off?

I may end up switching this within the next couple of days, but please put me down for the Hornets (DWitnessX).

Re: RCF 2k9: The return of the realness
I'm good whenever. Last midterm is tomorrow morning.
And yo Rchfld...just got an offer to work for Nestlé in Jonesboro, Arkansas for the summer. Start planning on meeting me for drinks in Memphis or Nashville or whatever.

LEAGUE IS UP!!!
Name: RCF2k9

Grab your team. Its on All Star and I have changed the sliders to reflect what most sim leagues are saying are the best for playing with and competing with the computer and human users both. If the computer kicks our asses too much, we will adjust.
Here are the sliders if you want to get some work in with them...

Re: RCF 2k9: The return of the realness
Glad to see this is getting started. I'm not sure that I'll make much of an impact though, I have family in from out of town for the week and they are staying with me.
Those sliders are great btw. I've been using the 'more difficult' set for 2 weeks now and really enjoy it. Some games I dominate, some I'm destroyed, most are pretty competitive.
