Of course. Players were offered a 50/50 split. They came back with offers not even close to that. Games being cancelled left and right now.

I feel for people that enjoy hockey as a sport but speaking for myself I'm not going to miss watching hockey highlights splitting time with the NFL/NBA. Or top plays, a guy fakes out a goalie over a monster Blake Griffin dunk.

Honestly, I would rather watch Hockey than the NBA. The Cavs are probably my 3rd team.

To me hockey is a sixth-rate sport ranking somewhere between jai alai and Amish rake fights. I couldn't care less about a lockout, a lost season, or a folded league.
