Not sure I want Swisher given the money people are getting.

Take him out of the NYY launching pad and what are you left with?

Low average, patient hitter who's numbers won't be worth his deal.

Great dude though, would be a great clubhouse guy.

You would also be taking him out of the New York lineup.

I want Mila Kunis. Not happening either.

In all seriousness, Swisher shouldn't even be on our radar. I think Youkilis should be our first option right now.

I'm glad that getting rid of Assdribble is priority #1.

That's a damn smart idea because he is the leader of the unprofessional dumbass brigade.

That's how Antonetti does things. Spikes interest in the fans, and then does nothing to show for it.

    Lastoria:

Indians and Diamondbacks are working on several different deals. Is a deal likely?

The Indians and Diamondbacks appear to be working toward some sort of deal. Reports all over the place have the Indians talking to them about the likes of Asdrubal Cabrera, Jason Kubel, Justin Upton, Trevor Bauer, Tyler Skaggs, and others.

With some many potential deals in play, including what ESPN's Buster Olney said to be a complex four-team deal between the Indians, D'Backs and two other teams that is "dormant", it appears that both teams are working hard to complete a deal.

Both GM Chris Antonetti and manager Terry Francona were seen in the Diamondbacks war room on Tuesday night during MLB Network's broadcast from the hotel, which adds more fuel to the fire.

The most likely scenario is a trade of Cabrera to the Diamondbacks that would net the Indians the young pitching they covet. Bauer and Skaggs have been mentioned as possible headliners in a deal, but it is not known if both would be included.

At this point, it no longer looks like a question of if Cabrera will be dealt, it is now when.

I would give up any two of Choo, Perez, and Asdrubal for Upton, and I'd give up the whole set for Upton and one of those pitchers like Bauer.

Upton is one of those talents. He had a bit of a power drop last year, but he won't be twenty-six until next August, and he still hit .280 with 17 home runs and 18 stolen bases.

He hit 31 the year before that with a .289 average. He's one of my favorite players in the league.
