    You should be used to this being an Indians fan. At least our GM didn't say to expect a huge move this off season so that Is good.

    Yeah, he must have known Shane Victorino rumors would really spurn ticket sales.

    Shane Victorino.... 13 mil per year.... Man. I used to love baseball. What a joke. In 5 years, the top players are going to be commanding $40 million a year salaries.

    I just don't get it. How can there not be some sort of salary cap. Boggles my brain every time I think about it. Makes no fucking sense.

    Worse yet, they're all guaranteed.

    Victorino's arm falls off tomorrow....sucks, but you still pay him.

    I was actually ready to camp out for 3 days to buy season tickets if we got the Flyin' Hawaiian. What marketing potential!!!

    Not sure who this is (Says former MLB scout), but he's been talking back & forth with Lastoria, but still, take it for what it's worth:

    Will Joyce‏@wahoowillie13

    @TonyIPI Spent weekend with D-Backs scout at camp this weekend. He said they want to trade Bauer because of mechanics and potential arm prob

    Can't believe the Indians actually offered that deal to Victorino. Red Sox bailed us out big time.

    Antonetti doesn't leak things to the media. Agents do that. Unfortunately, free agents use the Indians to drive up their price. Moves are most common when they aren't talked about. The last thing Antonetti wants are media leaks. However, because there are so many agents and players in baseball, leaks are almost unavoidable.

    Stop it.

    Do you realize how complicated trades are? For every 100 offers only 3-5 actually happen (for the math nerds that's 5%).

    * Re: Asdrubal trade:
    #1. Asdrubal for Upton
    #2. Asdrubal for Skaggs & Bauer (
    #3. Asdrubal for Skaggs & Kubel
    #4. Asdrubal for Bauer & Kubel

    * Keep Masterson
    * Trade Vinny to the Mets for Wheeler
    * Sign Swisher for the same deal you offered Victorino

    So, in summary:

    Justin Upton
    Nick Swisher
    Zack Wheeler
    Perez for best offer
    Choo for best offer

    hey, you asked what I wanted

    One thing that I think plays in Victorino's favor is he still has his speed. For the drop in his pop, he still has the legs and that leads me to believe he can bounce back. But for 4 years? Heck yeah it saved the Tribe.

    Blockbuster brewing with the Indians and other teams?
    According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, he says that "a blockbuster could be in the works". The teams involved are the Indians, Diamondbacks, Rays, and Rangers.
    In one proposed deal Rosenthal says Upton would go to the Rangers, Cabrera to the Diamondbacks, and the Indians would get a package of young talent which possibly includes infielder Mike Olt.

    Tony Lastoria
    @TonyIPI

    @1nter In that 3-team deal with the Rangers and DBacks, there is talk the Indians could net both Bauer and Olt.
