So at what point do we start building a team and stop adding assets and picks?

    Seriously....think about this:

    PG: Irving
    SG: Shabazz / McLemore, Waiters
    SF: Gee
    PF: Thompson, Williams
    C: Pekovic, Zeller

That's already 8 pieces to a damn good rotation. Add in the Lakers pick and maybe a vet to back-up at PG and that's a playoff team next year.

If we have kyrie, shabazz, thompson, and pekovic i say we twll him to come in for his interview at the Q and then there gilbert, grant, an Company could tell him to kiss our ass and take your ass back to an aging heat team we dont need you.

Sorry, but that is foolish. If he really came here with the intent to sign and you didn't want him. You just sign him up for the 4 years you are allowed to and then trade him at the earliest it is possible under the CBA. With over 3 left on his contract at the time, you could certainly get more assets for him then the cap space it took to sign him is worth. I get so tired of people be so prideful that they'd make decisions that are not in the best interests of the club.

I would lose all respect for Dan Gilbert if he took LeBron back-- so would a lot of other people too.

And then everyone would be okay with it the second the Cavs won their first championship.

If OKC won't part with the Tor pick then Bos makes the most sense.

Bradley, Sully, and Lee or Bass for AV.

I want to mention something else I forgot to say the first time. That's the absolute worst thing he could do unless he had blown out his knee. We need him to opt out in 2014 whether he were to sign here or not. Do you not remember that we own the 2015 Heat first round pick? What do you think happens if Lebron leaves that team? Perhaps, Bosh leaves it too seeing the writing on the wall and leaving just an older Wade behind. I want every once of talent that can be lost by Miami to be lost. That pick might end up middle of the round instead of the end with the right circumstances. You need to be thinking ahead.

Here's a question: Is that pick unprotected?

    If so, LOL Miami.

I believe it is top 10 protected. But, it does eventually become unprotected. Best part would be the fact that we'd have the player and they'd still owe us the draft pick for him.

Top 10 protected until 2017 when they would become unprotected.
